The Fairey Band, Ulrich Schnauss, Alphabeat,
Florence and The Machine, El Guincho,
Grovesnor, Filthy Dukes and Primary 1 are all set to perform live at last
year's Best Medium Festival alongside The Chemists, Roksahn, Barry Peters,
Subway and Le Volume Courbe.
Nately, Lark,
Manouchska, Recommended Daily Allowance, Ragged String Band, Cookie
The Cutter, Sparkle Motion, Babyhead and Barry Adamson will head
to the Isle of Wight as well as Deathray Trebuchet, Josh Weller, Katy Carr,
Last Man Standing, Laxula and Lisa Knapp.

Peyoti For President, Philippe And The G Spots, Pronghorn, Smokey
Angle Shades, The Barker Band, The Big Pink, The Owls, The
Pirate Band, The Shoes, The Worm, Urban Voodoo Machine, Venus
Marz and White Williams will also play over the weekend.
Matt Horne
from Gavin and Stacy is set to take to the decks at the boutique bash, while Bobby Friction and Nihal
will present a Bestival Seaside Special set. Other DJs confirmed for the festival include Roots Manuva and MK,
Erol Alkan, Gilles Peterson, Greg Wilson, Nigel Godrich and James Priestley.
Jon Carter, Ross Allen, Eddie Piller and Wayne Hemingway, Frank
Tope, Gaz's Rockin Blues, The Loose Cannons, Greco Roman Sound System,
Adventures Close To Home and South Rakkas Crew will also take to the decks at the three-day
affair.
Me And You, Kid Acne, Bugged Out Chilled Out, Different
Strokes, Boom Monk Ben, Cocadisco, Crimes Against Pop, Dave
Beer, Dave Vega and Dirty Pretty Things' Didz Hammond will also be spinning
tunes.
Goodbooks, DJ Scotch Egg, Shepdog, Heavenly Jukebox,
Horse Meat Disco, It's Bigger Than, James Baillie, Michael
Cook, Nadia Ksaibia, Vicarious Bliss, Greg's Greats, The
Shellac Sisters, DJ78 And The Shellac Collective have also been confirmed.
Other additions
include Care In The Community Audiovisual, Nick Name, Daisy Heartbreaker,
Dan Williams, Big Bamboo Tropical Polka, DJ Tom Hagar, DJ Chris
Tofu, Penny Metal and Friends and Plaster of Paris.
My Bloody
Valentine, Amy Winehouse and Underworld are set to headline the sold out Bestival
which takes place at Robin Hill Country Park, Newport, Isle of Wight from 5-7 September.
