The Peth will preview their debut album 'The Golden Mile' at the festival, which takes place at Glanusk Park, Brecon Beacons, Powys, from 15-17 August.
They join Sunday's line up alongside headliners Pentangle, plus The National, Iron And Wire and more, playing an exclusive summer festival show.
Ifans was the original vocalist in Super Furry Animals prior to departing the band to focus on his acting career.
A festival spokesman said of the album: "Its raw, rumbunctious nature will make for an electrifying live show."
Others already confirmed include headliners Super Furry Animals, Spiritualized, Caribou, King Creosote, School Of Language, Badly Drawn Boy and James Yorkston. Full line up HERE.
