Kanye West to headline Global Gathering
United Kingdom | |
09 April 2008
The hip-hop star is set to transform the main stage into his new ‘Glow In The Dark Show’, an entirely new set featuring robots and creatures by the legendary Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
Lighting will come from the team behind Daft Punk’s Pyramid, which has toured festivals and shows throughout 2006 and 2007.
A spokesman said: "That was perhaps the best light show of all time. To have Kanye at Global Gathering is an incredible coup."
Global Gathering takes place at Long Marston Airfield, near Stratford-Upon-Avon in Warwickshire, on 25-26 July.
Other acts already confirmed include Mark Ronson, Moby, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Sasha, Robyn and Erick Morillo. Full line up HERE.
Early bird tickets are already sold out and remaining tickets are expected to sell fast. A weekend pass costs £115 plus booking and you can buy HERE.
The music goes from 5pm-2am on the Friday and 2pm-6am on the Saturday. The event is over-18s only.
