Benicassim to stage a day in Madrid

The mini festival will be held in the Spanish capital on Saturday 19 July, the same weekend as the bigger four-day event, and will be headlined by My Bloody Valentine.

Other acts to play the show in Madrid include Mika, Siouxsie, Babyshambles and The Rumble Strips, who will all be playing at the main Benicassim festival.

Benicassim 2008 takes place in the town of the same name, near Valencia, from 17-20 July.

Other acts set to perform include Leonard Cohen, Justice, Beirut, Richard Hawley, Erol Alkan and Roisin Murphy.
